Connor's academic credentials include a magna cum laude AB degree in Government studies from Harvard University. While at Harvard, he was deeply involved in the Harvard Financial Analysts Club, serving in leadership roles as Chief Investment Officer and President. He led the club to numerous victories in intercollegiate investing competitions, showcasing his leadership and financial acumen.
His career began with a pivotal internship at Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group in New York in 2013. By 2014, he had taken a significant step as the first post-college analyst to join Scopia Capital, where he honed his skills across various sectors, including Consumer, TMT, and Industrial, for four years. His experiences there paved the way for his eventual return to Texas, where he founded Alta Fox, officially opening its doors in April 2018. Today, he remains a key managing partner, primarily focusing on Dallas and Fort Worth clients.
